It’s another case of time will tell. Colombia’s Gente magazine, citing “a highly reliable source,” is reporting that Shakira is pregnant. Shak, 35, is living with her boyfriend Spanish soccer star Gerard Pique, 25. According to the Daily Mail, the couple recently bought a home in Esplugues de Llobregat, an upscale area of Barcelona. Work is currently being done at the sprawling property. A nursery, perhaps? The singer’s rep Rodrigo Beltran told news agency Efe that he has no plans “to make an official announcement in that regard.”
Robert Plant didn’t really run off to get married. His manager told E! News that when the Led Zeppelin rocker told Britain’s The Independent that he’d “eloped,” he only meant that he had moved to Texas with girlfriend, Band of Joy singer-collaborator Patty Griffin. Plant divorced Maureen Wilson, the mother of his three kids, back in 1983.
In other couples news, Russell Brand was photographed at an LA area market with his arm around Hollywood agent Isabella Brewster, the younger sister of Dallas actress Jordana Brewster. The pic was taken the same day (Monday) that the comedian’s divorce from Katy Perry was finalized.
